Experience Wildlife Adventures at Home with Education Outdoors Games

Education Outdoors Inc. was created by Tim Paczesny in 2005 as a solution for the need to educate children and their families about the great outdoors. His motivating factor began when Tim’s daughter noticed an animal track on the ground and asked him what it could be. He told her that it was a raccoon paw print. “Dad, how did you learn all the things you know about nature?” With that question, Education Outdoors Inc. was created and its first educational board game was about to be developed.

During the winter of 2005 and into 2006, Tim was dedicated to making his educational vision become a reality. He composed 400 questions and 100 fun facts about animals and nature and completed the first game called “Camp — The Game That Grows With You.” With the average child watching over 20 hours a week of television, Education Outdoors Inc. has been embraced by families seeking a refreshing change in the types of products available to their children. Education Outdoors is passionate about its mission; bringing families together to interact and learn about wildlife and nature.

Education Outdoors has introduced several new games, including Fishing Camp, a game in which both children and adults can play and learn fun facts about the sport of fishing. The game is designed to grow along with the players’ experiences, with 16 levels of questions, both fun and educational. Players play to see who catches the first fish and gets back to the docks.

Mysterious Creatures the Game was created to engage players’ curiosity in the mysteries of nature that exist across the world. The experience takes each gamer on an imaginary adventure/race across the globe in search of a creature’s evidence cards. The first player to collect all three evidence cards and make it back to the creature’s country of origin wins! Along the way players learn about geography, country flags, and facts about creatures that may or may not exist… it’s up to the player to decide. Every game also includes a limited edition poster!

After a day of hitting the trail for real, there is no reason to stop the adventure. Families can make the fun continue into the evening with the Hit the Trail game, packaged in a mini backpack. The play continues to find the first hiker to hike 100 miles in a combination dice/card game.

The S’mores card game is designed for up to six players, and incorporates both strategy and laughs. The object of the game is to build an edible s’more before your opponents can. Players get a higher point value based on the quality of s’more ingredients. First player to collect all 4 ingredient cards and call out “S’more!” wins.
