pink chicken was started by Stacey Lavalle Fraser after her second daughter, Sadie Rose, was born. She has spent over 15 years in the fashion industry most recently as SVP of design at Old Navy. She has also held senior positions at Tommy Hilfiger, babyGap and garnered her early design experience at Ralph Lauren.

“I took a year off to care for my two young daughters but couldn’t get designing out of my system. I started making my daughters dresses last summer” … and pink chicken was born.”

“pink chicken’s new collection for Spring/Summer 2008 is inspired by the summers we spend in Montauk – beautiful beaches, cool surfers and the glistening snow cones we savor from the Puff & Putt. Our retro-boho frocks in classic silhouettes are fun and easy with vintage inspired prints. This season we are introducing more airy fabrics and great cotton knits.”

The beauty and fun of the collection is mixing and matching the dresses with leggings or contrasting diaper covers. My daughter, Belle, loves to wear the colorful striped leggings with her pink chicken dresses and my little one sadie, frolics in the knit tanks paired with her favorite leopard diaper cover.”
