Would you risk the horrors or stinky pet breathe to save your four legged friend’s life? That is the slightly silly question being answered in a poll conducted by the associated press. Nationwide, 1,166 pet owners were asked this question (among a few others): Would you be at least somewhat likely to perform CPR on your pet in the event of a medical emergency? For me the answer would be of course I would! Given that I had the proper CPR training, why wouldn’t I do everything in my power to save my pet’s life?

Rising to the occasion, designer and fashion savvy mom, Kathy Kramer, has created a functional belt for girls that she calls Invisibelt Girl.

In all the excitement of Halloween and our new fall products I almost forgot to clue my readers in to our new October clips of the month. In contrast to the general theme of October which is celebrated with symbols like ghoulish goblins, wart faced witches and plump pirate faced jack-o-lanterns, our October clippies showcase a festive holiday season look, without being too garish. After all, we have our Halloween clips for that! Smile Also, around this time of the year every one seems to be gearing up for their holiday shopping .

There is nothing more delicate than a baby’s skin. Unfortunately, many commercial bath and body products marketed as “hypoallergenic” can still cause irritation and rashes. Today’s parents are also concerned about possibly harmful ingredients that are often present in non-organic bath and body products. The Giggle Guide™ takes these concerns into consideration and spotlights some wonderful baby products, made with organic and all-natural ingredients, from Nature’s Baby Organics, Kiss My Face, Earth Mama Angel Baby and Giggle Baby Organic Skin Care.

We have some wonderful new products coming out this fall! Just in time for your Holiday shopping! Expect to see all of the items listed below available for purchase at the end of October at: www.hairclippy.com.

Millions of products were recalled due to safety issues in the past year. Some of these recalled products had high contents of lead; others were choking or burning hazards and most were manufactured outside of the United States. Many people have lost jobs because the cheaper prices overseas closing US based manufacturing plants. Combine the job losses with the number of products manufactured outside of the United States being recalled, and you have a recipe for consumers who are more inclined to purchase products from companies who manufacture their products within the United States.

Taking bedtime by the hand is a company called The Incredibeds, started by father and visionary Jeremy Maloney, who believed that bedtime didn’t have to remain something for kids to balk at. Tired of looking all over the house for his son’s favorite stuffed animals, in an effort to make sleeping more appealing, he imagined what it would be like for parents if the comforting presence of a stuffed friend was impossible to lose! Thus, Incredibeds was launched, and a new, appealing way of settling kids into bed was born.
