One of our favorite babies, Honor Marie Warren, was recently spotted looking lovely once again with her equally lovely mom, Jessica Alba. The two grabbed breakfast at Nate ‘n Al’s in Beverly Hills. See that adorable headband Honor’s wearing? Doesn’t that remind you of a No Slippy Hair Clippy headband? Smile

We are so in love with you, Honor! You’re growing up to be one fine little lady.

Barely a month to go before Christmas… The holiday season never fails to stir up the spirit of giving within all of us. Whether it’s something as simple as a greeting card for an old friend or as grandiose as jewelry for a loved one, gift-giving is never as joyous as it is during the holidays.

But more than anything, and I’m sure you would agree, Christmas really is for the children. So don’t be a Scrooge this holiday season and spread some Christmas joy to them, too!

Just thought I send a Holiday Greeting of Ba Humgug! to the Postal worker who stole four shipments of art two weeks ago from me. And to the Postal Service as well who completely acts oblivious to it all. My items were even insured and had tracking. And this is their answer, ” Well…we just can’t locate them.” “We will contact you when they are found.” Yeah right!

Just what I need when I’m preparing for a solo Hawk show next week.
Have a great day!

Kids say the silliest, funniest things, don’t they? I believe that one of the many perks of being a parent is the entertainment that kids provide when they innocently attempt to understand the world around them. Ever wondered how their little minds understand LOVE? Here are some quotes that cracked me up and made me go awww:

What is love?

I think you’re supposed to get shot with an arrow or something, but the rest of it isn’t supposed to be so painful.”

You can always tell when Christmas is around the corner. Somehow the atmosphere turns cheery and everyone seems to have a joyful air about them. While it’s still 40+ days away, I seem to be getting gifts early this year.

I recently read a wonderful review from lovely mom Christine, of The IE Mommy, who wrote about how much she and her twin girls adore No Slippy Hair Clippy Headbands! http://hairclippy.com/shop_headbands.asp

Here’s an excerpt of what she had to say:

Hectic schedule is the story of my life these days. I’m busy painting and preparing for my first solo art show on Dec. 11th. Hawk will center stage and I’m so excited. My personal life is full also. My boys are finishing up their football seasons, wrestling season is starting, and my husband just finished his Master’s Degree. We are so proud of him. He walks this Friday night and I’m hosting a huge PARTY for him this weekend…which I’m trying to get ready for as well.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween…I did.
Even Garrett came over to say hello or scare me. He’s the little boy on my website.
He cracks me up! Love you G!

Of course, my kids thought it would be fun scaring little boys and girls this year.

My son Austin carved this pumpkin….he did a great job!

While reading US News online today I came across an article that addresses concerns on every parents mind these days: swine flu. How do I prevent it and what do I do if they get it? A statistic from this article states that of 76,500 tweens tested (ages 10-14) a staggering 77 percent tested positive. Read the below article for more information about the swine flu vaccine and a mother’s frustrations with the whole ordeal.

Would you risk the horrors or stinky pet breathe to save your four legged friend’s life? That is the slightly silly question being answered in a poll conducted by the associated press. Nationwide, 1,166 pet owners were asked this question (among a few others): Would you be at least somewhat likely to perform CPR on your pet in the event of a medical emergency? For me the answer would be of course I would! Given that I had the proper CPR training, why wouldn’t I do everything in my power to save my pet’s life?

One of my favorite things about this time of year is all of the opportunities to get in my kitchen and bake. Since I have many mouth watering holiday recipes I thought it would be nice to share them all with you and give my readers the opportunity to share theirs as well. I will be posting them one by one randomly throughout the next 2 weeks so stay tuned!

Lou Sulola Samuel was born October 9, 2009 at 7:46 PM in Los Angeles, to elated parents, Seal and Heidi Klum. Seal released a statement that expressed his feelings for his new and second daughter: “From the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.” Heidi reports that Lou will indeed be her last child, “It’s a lot” she says. Smile

Congratulations on the healthy and beautiful addition to the family!
