Hello everyone. I’ve had quite an interesting last couple of weeks…mainly why I haven’t been on this blog. My computer has had a virus and still does…and I’m still trying to get it fixed. I’ve been working off a laptop and my husband’s computer, but since everything is mainly linked to mine, I’ve been unable to even load new art on my Etsy shop and my main site. I am so frustrated…I can’t even tell you. I am also sorry to those who I haven’t e-mailed back, because it was my business e-mail that got attacked by a nasty virus. I will get back to you and hopefully soon.

Spit-up on a clean crisp white blouse? You are dropping your child off at daycare while hurrying to get to a meeting at work and now your outfit went from polished and put together to dirty and sloppy. What’s a parent to do in a situation like this?

It is nothing new to hear about how bad excess T.V. watching is for children. Kids who watch a ton of television are more likely to be overweight than children who get outside and play. Also attention spans have proved to be shorter in those kids who are exposed to prolonged T.V viewing. Not to mention that there are so many more productive activities that a child could be engaging in other than zoning out in front of a television set.

In a recent post on July 1, 2009, Bebe Bella Designs has been privileged to be featured in a blog on the CuteKid’s website. Throughout this article, they have included a variety of the outfits and accessories that have been very popular with the public. Our clothes are made with simple elegance in mind and are always very fashion forward. We are excited to see that others have been enjoying the products as much as we have and are looking forward to making more comfortable clothes for babies and parents alike.

Keeping your head, hands, feet and neck warm during the cold winter, especially here in Minnesota, is something we all know is imperative to enjoying the long winter months. Trying to take an infant or toddler out in the middle of winter can be a challenge, but if you have the right gear and comfortable accessories, it can be a great time. With Bebe Bella’s soft and warm hats, mittens, scarves and booties, we can make those winter months bearable.

In just two weeks my little niece will turn the big -1- year old. I simply cannot believe how fast time has flown. I remember when she had just been born, she was infinitesimally small. I could fit 10 of her little hands in mine. She was fresh and snuggly and held all the promise that new life affords. And now one year later she is all the more beautiful! She is deserving of the most spectacular of birthday celebrations, alas I will not be in close enough proximity to help facilitate this.

Melissa Sachse, founder, entrepreneur, and mother, understands how important it is to surround your child with the most comfortable and affordable clothing possible. As we all know, putting a child in uncomfortable, scratchy outfit can lead to a miserable day for child and parent. Melissa has created a line of clothing and accessories that will please the child’s senses and still give the parent’s stylish clothing for the families on the go.

Would you let another Mother breastfeed your baby? That is the question I am asking myself after reading a recent article from Parenting Magazine. Apparently it is a growing trend for new Mothers to allow other new Mothers to breastfeed their babies and vice versa. There is also some controversy surrounding this as there are noted benefits and risks to the practice.

I thought I would do something a little different for today’s post. I came across an article that may be of interest to my readers, so I figured I would share it and open up a possible forum for discussion. You may or may not have heard of a compound called, BPA. (I know I hadn’t until today) It is a chemical used to harden plastics, and is found in many baby bottles.

How can such a little body -I’m talking 30″ long - burp up so much…stuff? It’s a mystery for many, but thanks to the award-winning Clean Burper burp cloth, it’s no longer a problem. This over-sized and extra absorbent burp cloth was designed with baby’s comfort and mom’s clothes in mind.
