TORONTO – Seasons UV, the makers of 50++ UPF swimwear, Real Kids Shades and Tail Wags Helmet Covers are together promoting safety this summer by offering useful tips to parents. One of the biggest concerns is sun exposure when children are out playing. Seasons UV and Real Kids Shades are encouraging parents to provide sun protection, beyond sun screen, by highlighting the importance of proper clothing and sun glasses.

We had a great show in Miami, and although it is not a “kids show” the retailers were looking for the next best thing for summer. Sun protection and kids seem to be going hand and hand and is now available in our newest mom and dad lines. Cannot wait until ENK and ABC, looks like its going to be a great 2011 for Seasons UV!
The Treehouse Showroom traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada this week and visits “Kids Kastle” at Caesars Palace.
“Kids Kastle” was booming with customers flowing in and out. Bags filled, and smiling customers excited about the purchases they’d made. The store was filled with tutus, accessories, and designer brands, great job buyers! The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the brands they carry, and the check out process was a breeze.
The Treehouse Showroom visits “Ducks & Daisies” Balboa Island, Newport Beach, California. This posh little boutique is a staple on the Island and is known for the bright colored fun look of their yellow and white stripped awning. Ducks and Daisies attracts tourist and locals alike. The Treehouse Showroom often visits the Island, to show store owner Gina new lines for her boutique.
The Treehouse Showroom takes a visit to “Lisa Kline Kids” in Beverly Hills, Ca to see the lastest addition to the posh lines they carry. New to the boutique are “JB Vintage” and “Royal Rock Apparel” both represented by The Treehouse Showroom of Los Angeles.
I am so excited about our new Tent in a Bag. We have made tents at the park, beach, in hotels, and when the girls were little they were completely obsessed with “stroller forts.”
Remember how we used to pile stacks of books onto heavy blankets and try to make tents at home? NO MORE! Grab our Spring Bean clamps and attach the material to beds, chairs, tables, or even park benches and tree branches. Carabean the cute little bag onto the stroller and head out for some summer fun.
Charming Hawaii Kids launches The Happy Manatees on The Giggle Guide. We have added the two styles into this new category. The manatees, or sea cows, as they are sometimes called, are aquatic mammals that can grow to 13 feet and over 3,000 pounds, even though they eat only plants.
The devastation in Haiti reminds us of human frailty. But more importantly, how this frailty turns to great strength when we extend a helping hand and lift each other up.
In the hope of somehow reaching out to the victims of the earthquake, we invite you to join us as we do our share in aiding our brothers and sisters in Haiti. We will be donating a portion of our sales to UNICEF to help in Haiti relief efforts. If you’d like to take part, please visit our website. Every purchase at No Slippy Hair Clippy can do so much in extending a little help.
So here is the first painting of Hawk for 2010 which is available still in the shop…for now.
Klause the mouse is a busy body that knows just about everything that goes on in the house where Hawk lives. His mouse house is located in the back mudroom of the house where new critters that enter get questioned. Hawk visits him daily to get the house news. Super cute!
Below are a few more paintings that are available to buy at ART251.
Send them an email if you are interested.
I’m back from vacation…well, I’ve been back actually. The picture above is me and I completely look exhausted in this picture, which cracks me up because I was. It was the most rewarding and exhausting trip I have ever taken. We had a blast though and so did my kids. The picture below is my son Austin walking along the Vietnam Memorial checking out all the names of the men who died. If you look there is a reflection with my husband David and my son Jacob in the picture as well. It was really something to see.
I’m in DC this week and I’ll be back to share next week…the first of August.
Be back soon….Oh…go check me out, I’m now on Posh Tots !
