Hello,

Exciting new product offerings are on the Baby Bella Maya 2013 horizon!

We are tickled about the launch of what will be an exciting five new fabric roll out. Our wonderful Baby Bella Maya community helped name them and included in this post is a little sneak peek! Our Fall line will reveal innovative new products and a broadening of our existing categories with even some special surprises in store for mom!

I can tell you exactly when I swore off wooden rollercoasters. It was mere seconds into my last ride on the Coney Island Cyclone. The constant jerking, bumping, and shaking seemed to go on forever. As soon as I placed my feet on solid ground, I swore I’d never do it again. It had been a few years since I’d been on any sort of coaster, and I’d forgotten the huge difference between wooden and steel. No matter how harrowing the turns, twists and loops, steel coasters at least offer a smooth ride. That experience made one thing clear: when barreling along a track at 60-plus mph, friction is bad.

Luv Chicken™ was featured in the January 2013 issue of Pregnancy & Newborn Magazine. The feature was called “What’s Hot Now” and Luv Chicken was one of three hot boosters featured!

Luv Chicken™ Booster Cushions for Kids are fabulous boosters that are both stylish and functional! Not only do they boost children ages 18 months - 7 years squarely up to the table, they are also portable, easy to clean and grip the bottom of any chair. Now Luv Chicken boosters come in a new, smaller size! At 13” x 13” x 3”, children get all the benefits of the original cushion, but at a size that is perfect for smaller furniture as well as high-backed bar stools. These cushions are available in three adorable prints: Pink Fairytale, Pirate Stripes and Zoofari. They retail for $40.

Retail Parade has picked up bINK’d and we were so lucky to be featured as a daily find!

We’ve heard it time and again: “the customer is king.” But thanks to what can euphemistically be called a “sluggish” economy over the last few years, too many retailers and manufacturers have decided to let shoppers call the shots. The result is a marketplace that looks defeated, offering safe products instead of innovation. Rather than newness, we’re getting sameness because everyone’s afraid consumers won’t give new ideas a sporting chance.

Brixy, the new trade association for independently owned stores in the juvenile industry, has taken another step in preparing to launch on January 2, 2013. Today the organization formally announced its membership criteria and timeline for accepting applications. “Our focus is on helping juvenile brick and mortar stores to grow and thrive,” explained Executive Director Jill Cartwright as she outlined the membership criteria.
