Chatterbox: Blog Central

Jennifer Garner and her daughter Violet had the perfect mother-daughter day in NYC last week, and No Slippy Hair Clippy® was there! CelebrityBabyBlog.com and the 9/13/10 issues of People OK! Magazine and Star show them out for a spin through Central Park in a horse-drawn carriage after they caught the matinee of “Mary Poppins” on Broadway. Violet looks precious with a No Slippy/Pediped Abigail flower clip in her long blond hair, helping make this special day even more special!

I am a mom on a mission, and my passion is to not just take measures for myself and my family to make this world a better tomorrow, but rather to inspire and assist other moms in doing so. Being the founder and organizer of the company Greenbuds, my mission is to enable all parents with budget restraints (and who doesn’t have any, in today’s economy!) to still give the best to their children.

My first son, the big brother of the family, uttered “Diggo” when he first began to speak. As he pointed out the window at a huge yellow digger, I drove alongside the now 121 Tollway in Collin County. Of course it was so cute and I was mesmerized at his fascination of construction vehicles. He matured and his digger schema narrowed to crane, backhoe, front loader and more. Then there were toys, clothes and books… a favorite, Trucks by Byron Barton, was a nightly read.

Somethings just never change with little boys!!! To no surprise, check out our best selling tee for Big Brothers!

We absolutely love receiving letters from you! Just recently, Josie Nguyen sent us an email about how she and her little girl love No Slippy Hair Clippy. Plus, she attached a lovely photo of her daughter wearing our Tilly Butterfly clip!

To the wonderful people at No Slippy:

Jessica Alba’s daughter Honor Marie has been named Best Dressed Baby in the latest People (August 30, 2010) – and the pictures are proof positive. She’s wearing one adorable outfit after another, but our favorite is the sweater over the plaid jumper, with a shocking pink No Slippy Hair Clippy® Parker Bow in her hair! No wonder Pregnancy & Newborn (September 2010) puts No Slippy Hair Clippy® hairbows on the list of must-haves for “Tinseltown Tots” – citing fans Halle Berry, Salma Hayek, and Isla Fisher. Star style starts early!

The latest Baby & Kids “Look Book” features No Slippy Hair Clippy®’s Paisley Glitter BabyBow®, a very special bit of sparkle that’ll be perfect for the holidays.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were twirling in a teacup in Us Weekly (7/26/10) and OK! Magazine (7/26/10), enjoying a day at Disneyland with their sons Zuma and Kingston. Zuma’s red and white striped BabyLegs® were the perfect complement to his Mickey Mouse ears, proving once again that this family knows how to have fun with fashion!

I remember when I was working in my corporate job having to take a personal day here and there to take care of “life stuff”. It was no big deal. I alerted my manager, made out my list of to-do’s and off I went. Mission accomplished.

Fast forward to mompreneurship. I still have the same, if not more, life stuff. I still have my list of to-do’s. I even alerted myself that I need to take a day off to complete these tasks by marking them on my calendar. Yet they either remain undone or, worse, I spend the day feeling guilty that I’m not “at work”.
