Babymoon Pillow Provides Relief for “Flat Head”

The Babymoon Pillow was created when designer, Kelly Su couldn’t find a solution for her 3 month old’s “flat head”. Flat Head Syndrome is a common issue and can lead to long-term mis-forming of the skull. As more and more families are following guidelines to put their babies to sleep on their backs, Flat Head Syndrome has also risen. At her daughter’s 3 month check up, Kelly’s pediatrician expressed concern and gave some suggestions for repositioning the baby.

The Babymoon Pillow was designed to ease flat head for babies that love lying on their back. As Kelly learned with her daughter, some babies just won’t stay in tummy time or on their side for very long without returning to their backs. The Babymoon Pillow is a donut shaped pillow that keeps the baby’s head elevated off the floor or seat, providing light neck support and eliminating pressure on the back of the head. The Babymoon Pillow is not intended for use during sleep or in cribs, it should only be used with supervision.

The pillow is designed for use throughout daily life and can be laid under the baby’s head in a circle to reduce pressure on the head, or it can be opened into a u-shape and used as a neck support for in the car seat or stroller. The gentle neck support of the pillow is great for supporting little necks and keeping heads from tossing back and forth. The circular pillow has a Velcro closure on the two ends, these ends can be opened to create the neck support pillow

The Babymoon Pillow can be used in bouncers, strollers, seats, and when lying down or during playtime. The pillow is recommended for birth to age six months.
