Kissy Kissy Launches Kissy Cares with its “Share the Love” Campaign

Beloved baby clothing and accessories brand Kissy Kissy announces the launch of Kissy Cares, a charitable program designed to support moms and babies. Through Kissy Cares, Kissy Kissy will donate clothing and fabric to causes that aid children in need or support mothers through healthcare and skills training. Kissy Cares was born out of the belief that all moms have the same hopes and dreams for their children, which start with love, security and life’s sweet necessities.

To kick off the new program, Kissy Kissy is hosting “Share the Love,” a social giving campaign that taps into the natural compassion mothers feel toward all children. For every LIKE the official “Share the Love” post receives on Kissy Kissy’s Facebook page and it’s Instagram feed from September 16th - October 15th, 2014, the company will donate $5 in clothing to Early Head Start through K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers up to a total of $75,000.

“Giving back has been a big part of Kissy Kissy’s DNA from the start. We’ve donated to many charities and worthy causes over the years. With Kissy Cares, we look forward to helping even more families, and we’re excited to provide our fans with the opportunity to help moms and babies just like them,” says owner Roxana Castillo. “We selected K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers as our first partner because of their tireless work toward alleviating the effects of poverty for kids all over the globe. Working with Early Head Start allows Kissy Kissy to key in on those who are most vulnerable and have the most promise.”

“Programs like Kissy Kissy’s ‘Share the Love’ allow us to focus on some of the most vulnerable children in our society,” says K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers Co-Chairman Gary Simmons. “Improving the earliest years for at-risk children, especially birth to three years old, can help lay a foundation for future success. It is especially important to help these kids get a head start in life so that they can have a better chance at escaping the cycle of poverty.”

K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers provides clothes, shoes, toys, baby items and books to millions of needy children all over the world. These donations provide hope, self-esteem and opportunity to homeless families, victims of disasters, the seriously ill, military families and others in need. K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers works with over 800 community nonprofits throughout the U.S. and the world annually. Since its inception, the organization has provided $1 billion in goods and services to nearly 70 million children. To do this, K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers relies on corporate product and monetary donations.

Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children up to age 3, supporting them through the most important developmental phase in a child’s life. At 20 years old, Early Head Start supports nearly 1,000 programs that serve more than 150,000 children and families a year. Early Head Start children generally have better cognitive development and are more likely to have engaged, self sufficient parents.
