Live from First NYC Kids and Baby Fair at 7 W NEW YORK®

(January 31, 2010) Opening Day at the NYC Baby and Kids Fair (January 30-February 1, 2010) was upbeat with buyers from across the US and around the world, walking the corridors and sourcing products from a diverse and interesting range of kids and baby accessories, toys, furnishings and gear. The exhibitor mix and intimate feel of the space really made for a successful first day. The kick-off keynote address by Jenny Heinzen York, Editorial Director of Kids Today, gave attendees valuable insight into juvenile market trends. Buyers commented on the shopping experience, confirming the strategy behind this first-ever dedicated baby/kids focused exhibition being held in the 11th floor currently with the 7 W New York Gift and Textiles Market Week (January 29 – February 4, 2010).

Highlights from NYC Baby & Kids Fair exhibitors on 11:

The Bomb Mom showed clever and stylish shirts for moms that do everything with flair.

Brett Klisch’s timely company Belly Buds had its NY launch at the NYC Kids and Baby Fair. Their innovative product features a special sound system which send music waves into a mommy-to-be’s tommy so that babies in utero can hear iPhone selections – or grandma and grampa on the phone for the first time
