ABC Kids Expo Was A Huge Success With Larger Attendance Than Past Years

ABC Kids Expo returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center for its thirteenth annual event on October 18-21, 2015.
San Antonio, Texas (November 11, 2015) – Each year, manufacturers, retailers, buyers and media gather in the nearly 1 million square feet of exhibit space to see what’s new in the juvenile industry and to network. This is what attendees are saying:

Total attendance for the ABC Kids Expo 2015 was 12,874, a 3.3% increase over 2014. Retail store attendance was 2,255, with buyer attendance at 5,323. Net exhibit space was up 325,900 square feet, with 1,004 exhibitors and 3,259 booths.

Once again, the JPMA held the annual competition for the most innovative products in the market. It announced the 10 winners of the JMPA Innovation awards during the show on October 18 at the unique and exciting ABC Industry party. Congratulations to all of the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association 2015 Innovative Products of the Year!

The celebrity nursery event engaged consumers with “insider access” to the trade only event via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram during the ABC Kids Expo with a contest that included a full nursery giveaway to four lucky parents-to-be. The nurseries were inspired by Kim Kardashian, Mila Kunis, Princess Charlotte (“The Royal Baby”) and Rachel Zoe, and designed by Vanessa Antonelli, celebrity nursery designer and owner of specialty store Nessalee Baby. There were 400 entries total across all social channels assisting in the all-time high social media engagement for the show – a 29% increase in just two months!

ABC Kids Expo was honored with two awards for three-year average growth for both the Fall ABC Kids Expo and Spring ABC Spring Educational Conference & Trade Show earlier this week at 2015 TSNN Awards in Atlanta. The awards are given to the top 25 shows in North America with the fastest growth in either attendance or net square footage of exhibit space. According to Larry Schur, president of All Baby & Child Corporation, “It is a great honor to even be recognized for this achievement and to win the award for both events…we have a lot to be thankful for.”

Next year, ABC Kids Expo’s 14th Annual Conference & Trade Show will return to the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV on October 18-21, 2016.
