AmericasMart® Atlanta presents thousands of gift lines on display at The Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market® January 12-19, 2011. Show organizers search the country for exciting product lines to debut from a variety of categories, with a focus on offering retailers innovative products that will keep their stores ahead of the trends. This season, products range from well-known characters with a twist, such as the limited edition Hello Kitty collection, to classic gifts with new appeal like hand-painted wooden yo-yos, and hand-made slippers that look like they should be on display in an art gallery!
As the primary trade show for independent retailers and manufacturers of juvenile products, ABC Kids Expo is growing as quickly as the children who use the products it showcases. With over 900 exhibitors, Expo’s October 2010 show in Las Vegas was testimony for the power of partnership that drove domestic and international attendance and fostered new business relationships. Among the numerous exhibitors whose innovative products intrigued The Giggle Guide® were Straw-Lution™, The Juno Company, Spuds, Inc., and ViveVita.
Four times a year, ENK Children’s Club in NYC features the best in children’s apparel and accessories. The Children’s Club show is a premier destination for both established and up-and-coming brands to present their newest products to retailers. During its October show last month, The Children’s Club included a fashion show sponsored by Vogue Bambini, hundreds of vendors and lots of business networking. fiveloaves twofish, ROCK ME!, Kai Bean, and PureLime Kids are a few of the fantastic brands that caught the attention of The Giggle Guide® editors.
The 2010 ABC Kids Expo concluded on another high note, as total attendance climbed to 14,655 – a 7.8% increase over the prior year and another all-time record for ABC.
Retailer attendance increased by 4.9%, exhibitor attendance by 10.9% and media attendance by 34.1%. Booth count soared to 3,670 from 3,306 the prior year. Retailers were in attendance from 64 countries as well.
Bookings for booth space at the 2011 show are already well underway, with 469 exhibitors already registered occupying 2,539 booths.
