I never have enough time (or audacity) to try out new hairstyles. So I am pretty much stuck to one-length bobs until my hair grows long enough to merit a trim. It’s simple, it’s easy, it’s practical and… it’s boring!

Since it’s the official Keep America Beautiful month (you read that right!), I’m here to help you out. If you feel stuck in a style rut like me and want some new flair to your hair (but don’t want to go overboard with it), check out these three DIY tips from Bella Sugar.

What kid doesn’t love to pull pranks? And what day is more perfect to pull the best pranks ever than on April Fool’s? The one day when you can get away with it!

Now, now, we are all for creativity. But we don’t want anybody to get hurt, either. So please do make sure that your pranks are safe but of course, still fun.

Here are a few fun suggestions for you and your kids to pull on April Fool’s from suite101:

  • Put some green food coloring into a carton of milk. It will look delicious when it’s time for a family member to put milk into their cereal in the morning!

Cheer up Kermit! When it comes to products for babies and children, it’s easier than ever to be “green”. Today’s companies are paying close attention to safety concerns and parental demands, and are producing a wide variety of environmentally-conscious products. As we get ready to celebrate Earth Day this month, The Giggle Guide® is featuring brands that make going green a walk in the park. Happy Heinys, BabyGanics, Cotton Monkey, Sofi & Liv, and Mary Meyer are fantastic companies whose products are designed to be kind to both babies and the environment.

You know it all too well. Once you entered parenthood, somehow “sleep” stopped being a part of your vocabulary. Even when the little critters are already in dreamland, your momma instincts keep you alert for any sound or movement. This is especially true if you have babies! And you find yourself missing what it felt like to be in a truly deep slumber.

Fret not! There is still hope! You may not be able to get back into worry-free sleep, but there are still ways that you can help yourself deal with sleep deprivation. Parents.com clues you in:

Children's Club - New York, New York (3/7/10 - 3/9/10)

With over 750 collections, including 123 new lines, the three-day ENK Children’s Club Fall/Winter Back-to-School Show was an extravaganza of children’s fashion at its best! This coming together of leading brands in the children’s market was a perfect representation of what today’s market demands in both style and price, and featured over 100 environmentally-conscious collections from established brands like Coccoli, Kate Quinn Organics, Sage Organics and Petit Bateau. The Giggle Guide®’s Leesa Valentino covered the show and had her eye on the following favorites: Kiwi Industries, la Lovie, Skylar Clothing and UB2 Urban Baby Bonnet.

When it comes to being fabulous, very few women come close to Kimora Lee Simmons. She is so fabulous in fact, that she even coined a term to describe the art of being fab like her: FABULOSITY.

But before I get busted by the Grammar Police, this post isn’t just about her—ermmm—fabulosity. It’s about how she can be her larger-than-life self and still be a loving mother to her little girls.

Well, wonder no further because she has revealed her top 10 parenting tips recently at MyStyle.com!

It’s Monday again and so it’s all about blue!

Today, I am sharing our Nahla - Button Polka Dot Flower clips. With its bright and bubbly colors (we have Pink, Shocking Pink, Lime and Turquoise), it’s the perfect way of welcoming Spring. We love that it comes in a refreshing turquoise color because as you know, fashion experts have predicted that turquiose is the color of the year! How much more perfect can these clippys be? ;o)

Happy Blue Monday everyone! If you’d like to join in, visit our lovely host Smiling Sally here! http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/

Children's Club - New York, New York (3/7/10 - 3/9/10)

The Children’s Club Fall 2010 show had a great turnout and was a huge success! It was exciting to see several new companies exhibiting with some unique products. Without the Bubble show running, some of its regular exhibitors decided to attend Children’s Club, largely exhibiting together in one row. With so many great lines, it is a difficult task to pick out favorites, but the following brands stood out to me with their soft, comfortable fabrics and fabulous style!

I am so excited about our new Tent in a Bag. We have made tents at the park, beach, in hotels, and when the girls were little they were completely obsessed with “stroller forts.”

Remember how we used to pile stacks of books onto heavy blankets and try to make tents at home? NO MORE! Grab our Spring Bean clamps and attach the material to beds, chairs, tables, or even park benches and tree branches. Carabean the cute little bag onto the stroller and head out for some summer fun.

They are here, just in time for Spring!

Our new Tent in a Bag is the perfect little companion for airport or hotel tents, keeping the sun out of little eyes in the stroller, and making forts at home! Each kit comes with a unique piece of recycled, vintage or new tent material, 4 Spring Bean clamps, and a cute little bag to tote it around. Why not clip it on the stroller with a Carabean and make a tent at the park? Fabulous!
