Inspiration is Never Born Too Soon!

Nomie Baby's inspiration, Josie -- now 3 years old

During the challenges and heartaches of having a premature infant, many parents discover hope, inspiration and the power of TLC. Katie Danziger and Amber Lancaster are two such parents. Both are mothers of preemies, and both are dedicated to offering support, and useful products, for other parents of preemies. In honor of their achievements and National Prematurity Awareness Month, The Giggle Guide® showcases their respective companies, Nomie Baby and Born 4 Couture.

Nomie Baby Adds Easy-Care to Car Seat Covers

Nomie Baby
Being the mother of a child that was born two months premature, Katie Danziger knows not to sweat the small stuff. However, when she realized that the car seat cover she used for her tiny baby wasn’t washable, she decided to do something about it. Searching for soft fabric that wouldn’t irritate the skin of her sensitive child, she made it her mission to manufacture an easy-care, comfortable cover. Nomie Baby car seat covers is her neat idea that met a need in the marketplace. The covers, designed for infant and toddler seats, retail for $36, and are available in solid blue, white, pink, lime, white, pink, navy and charcoal.

Nomie Baby was born from the inspiration of a miracle child, so 10% of profits are donated to an NICU in appreciation for the care that helps save children’s lives.

Born 4 Couture Grows From Mom & Preemie’s Needs

Born 4 Couture
Amber Lancaster is the creator of Born 4 Couture, a company that was inspired by the birth of her daughter Abigail. Abigail was born premature at 25 weeks, weighing only one pound. She was not expected to live through the night, but she was a fighter. While Amber sat by as the weeks of her daughter’s recovery in NICU turned into months, she began to sew clothing for her daughter that would fit and comfort. Amber expanded her inspired collection to include beautiful tutus and skirts of the softest glittered tulle and satin, tiny hats with gorgeous flowers and ribbons.

Following months of creating fashions only for her daughter, and after losing her job, Amber took a leap of faith and went commercial with her collection. After four and a half months, Abigail came home to her family over two years ago now, and along with the Born4Couture business, she continues to bloom and thrive. Amber is the mother of 3 children, ages 3 to 5 months old.

Born 4 Couture
Born 4 Couture offers much more than the original creations, as sizes go from newborn through 5T. Clothing and accessories include custom-made graphic one-piece tees, tutus, fairy outfits, hair accessories, hoodies and a rock-edgy boys’ line, newborn through 6.

I like those baby hoodies.…

I like those baby hoodies. I’m an avid fan of Reprebate.com’s hoodies but I don’t think they have hoodies for babies with such attitude. Perhaps Born 4 Couture can partner with them.
