FROSK wear Celebrates Kids and Nature

Young children display innocence, purity and simplicity. With their funny thoughts and inspiring insights they can teach us about life in their own easy-going way. Bente Nilssen, the designer of FROSK wear, a Texas-based children’s clothing brand, believes in the wonder of children and makes clothes that reflect their inner beauty. Pulling inspiration from nature, each piece creates a timeless quality without fancy designs that may distract from the most important element — the child who’s wearing it.

Hailing from Norway, Nilssen graduated from design school in Paris, and then brought her family, along with her passion for fashion to the U.S. After working in various fashion venues around Europe, she is now designing her own line of flattering fashions for boys and girls.

FROSK utilizes fabrics from Spain, Portugal and Italy. Touchable textures, soft knits and gentle cottons envelop young wearers in a timeless and classic style. Light knits for spring and summer and warmer, heavier designs for colder days offer versatility and comfort. Designed with few zippers and a touch of Lycra for stretch, the easy-wear clothing for ages 4 to 14 is comfortable and allows kids to move without restriction.

Manufactured in Europe as well as the U.S., FROSK wear shows children and parents how quality clothing can fit and feel. FROSK wear offers its customers durable, well-made fabrics that last — and give parents more value and durability for their clothing budget.

“Our vision is to make a change in the approach that parents and children take to what they wear. We want to teach them to choose natural qualities with soft and comfortable fabrics. Timeless good design and durable clothes are the backbone of FROSK. We hope to teach that clothes are something valuable and not something you get almost for free and throw away after some washes. We want to teach about cultural differences, art and nature and about the globe we live on — a place that needs our attention and responsibility,” says Nilssen.
