Take CuddleCloth for a Dry Run

For many parents, bath time is an aspect of baby care that sparks a bit of apprehension. Handling a wiggly infant is challenging enough when he’s clothed and dry; a soapy, bare baby can be a challenge for the new mom or dad. The CuddleCloth is a unique product that helps take the worry out of bathing baby.

The adult wears the CuddleCloth around his or her neck, attached loosely with a securing loop. When it’s time to remove the baby from the tub, the adult simply releases the end of the CuddleCloth from the loop to wrap and dry baby.

This large, soft receiving blanket/bath towel makes it easy for a caregiver to quickly and easily transfer a baby from the tub to the changing table or other surface without slipping or dripping, making bath time a more fun, pleasant experience for baby and adult alike.

The seed of the idea for CuddleCloth was planted when company founder Mary Purcaro’s first child was born. She experienced the bath time worry that many parents do, and wished that there was an easier way to get her baby dry after a bath other than struggling with a cumbersome large towel, or using a traditional receiving blanket which may not be roomy or absorbent enough.

It wasn’t until years later after the birth of her nephew that Mary started inventing her own solution to the problem. She experimented with multiple prototypes, initially using Velcro and snaps to secure the towel around the adult wearer’s shoulders. Eventually she found a simpler, hands-free, Velcro-and-snap-free design that does the trick beautifully, and the final version of CuddleCloth was born.

The CuddleCloth comes in white with the parent’s choice of binding colors in pink or blue, or specialty prints in various color floral, polka dots or peace signs.

CuddleCloths can also be personalized with the baby’s name for an extra fee.
