Children's retailers need to think more like event planners to get customers to return more often. Turning around open sign is not enough
I am hearing that many kids brands are too busy to concentrate on sales promotions and marketing. As $$s go down, time demands go up.
Years ago I wrote motivational programs for employees at banks, s&ls, car dealers, etc.! Prizes and praise pay in increased sales!
Old-school sales skills are needed! Most brands don't help retailers after the sale. Teamwork with stores for events, incentives, giveaways.
