A Mom’s Review: Baya’s Diaper Bag Fits Busy Lifestyle

I’ve had the pleasure of using the Chocolate Collection Shoulder Diaper Bag by Baya for a several weeks. As a busy mom to my two-year old daughter, this bag fit in perfectly with my lifestyle. Being a thrifty mom, the bag’s $98 retail price isn’t something I would typically purchase for myself. However, since it comes with so many extras, I could justify the expense. It includes coordinating changing pad, insulated bottle/baby food holder, wipe case and a wallet, which is my favorite. Keeps me looking stylish while only carrying one bag. It is nice to have the matching changing pad which rolls up and is stored loose in the bag.

This bag has plenty of room to hold all my baby essentials, without being bulky. The inside has expandable elastic pouches which helped keep contents organized. It also has a cell phone pouch and a zippered compartment. I especially love the zipper pouch on the bottom of the bag. It’s perfect to keep a change of clothes and snacks for my daughter. The bag has two straps which makes it very comfortable to carry. Also the straps make it easy to attach to a stroller. The outside of the bag has a large pocket. It works great for holding those items you need quick access to or your mommy items. I used mine for my blackberry phone. The bag has the option of a monogram, with choice of color thread. I like this option to make the bag personalized for me.

One change I would like to see is the ability to have the changing pad fold up and fit in a side pouch. This would make it easier to find and take up less room in the main part of the bag.

The bag is definitely stylish enough for later use. It doesn’t have the babyish look, which makes it great for future uses. My husband didn’t seem to mind carrying it either. I did get compliments about how cute the bag was. Most people didn’t even realize it was my diaper bag.

Overall this is a great bag that will last through the baby years and beyond. This bag is well constructed and definitely practical for daily use and travel. There are four great colors to choose from.
