Lil’ Feet Candies are Sweet Baby Announcements

She felt that many of the products were outdated or no longer unique. After observing new parents, their family and friends visiting the gift shop, she realized that they were all searching for items with these similarities: (1) something pink for girls or blue for boys, (2) the announcement of “It’s a Girl” or “It’s a Boy,” (3) an inclusion of any big sisters or brothers, and (4) a personalization component. In collaboration with one of the oldest candy companies in the USA, Landers designed a unique product to satisfy those demands. In June 2010, her sugarplum good idea was finally “born.”

Lil’ Feet Candies offers keepsake boxes of little foot-shaped hard candies, available in pink to announce a baby girl or blue to announce a baby boy. The keepsake boxes are clad with a classic gingham pattern in the coordinating gender-specific color, and feature a traditional stork on the front. The back of the box provides a mini “birth certificate” that can be personalized with baby’s birth stats, including name, birth date and time, weight, length and hospital.
