UnderBib Keeps Delicate Skin Dry

“Almost every parent has experienced a drooler at one point or another and dealt with traditional bibs,” said Lauren Anderson, the mompreneur behind the UnderBib. “When my first baby started drooling, I looked everywhere for something to protect her skin without covering her outfits or irritating her neck. I realized there wasn’t anything out there that solved my problem.” Like other hands-on moms, Anderson rolled up her sleeves and developed the UnderBib, a tot-sized covering that slips under clothing to protect baby’s delicate skin. “…[The] UnderBib is unique in the market because it combines function with style.”

Sleek styling allows for the UnderBib to be slipped next to baby’s skin while hidden magnets allow for it to be easily and securely attached to garments. The UnderBib is just the first product to be developed by Anderson’s company, little lew. Named for her three oldest children (Luke, Ella, and William), little lew is poised to become one of the best go-to sources of quality, moisture-wicking products that keep babies dry and parents happy.

Cuddly, Stay-Dry Pieces for Busy Lifestyles

Anderson’s little lew is dedicated to keeping babies comfortable and dry, while providing sustainable products. little lew blankets utilize Lenzing Modal, the German textile powerhouse’s answer to environmental concerns. Lenzing Modal is derived from sustainable beech wood, has a high “wet strength”, and is machine washable. It also creates cuddly pieces that feel great next to the skin. The Petite Oiseau (“Little Bird”) blanket collection is developed from 50% cotton and 50% Lenzing Modal, making the avian-decorated snugglers drool-absorbing and versatile.

Anderson tapped 100% cotton for the Blue argyle print bodysuit with built in UnderBib. The super-popular style (also comes in a soft pink/grey version) is available for children ages 3 to 18 months, and is easy-on, easy-off. It has a three-snap closure for quick diaper changes and has a waterproof nylon lining. Other short-sleeved bodysuits include white backgrounds for playful embroidered designs, like a tiny pink bow or whirling blue paper airplane. Long-sleeved bodysuits in pink or blue stripes keep little arms toasty and bodies dry during play (sizes 3-18 months).

With the popularity of its offerings, little lew is rolling out big plans for 2014. Anderson adds: “We will be introducing more prints and styles of onesies and blankets in 2014 to expand the collection.” Sets of one-piece suits and blankets are also on tap at www.littlelew.com
