As proud Canadians, we understand the unique shopping needs of Canadian moms. Our vision of a Canadian online store that carried unique, hip and useful products started when Jen was pregnant with her first child in Iqaluit Nunavut.

As you can imagine, shopping is a bit limited in the Arctic, so she had no other choice but to turn to the internet for her needs. Even this proved difficult, as responses from online retailers varied from “where is Nunavut?” to “does Canada Post actually deliver to the Arctic?” With shipping costs so high, she searched all over the net to find a store where she could find what she needed in one place. Again no luck. Out of options, she fired off an email containing her extensive shopping list to her sister in Toronto. Armed with list in hand, Heather ran all over the city collecting what she could find, and buying online what she could not. Utterly exhausted and exasperated, Heather exclaimed “it would be easier to open our own online store”. Eureka!
