jillybean green was started by a Los Angeles mom of two hip kids who started taking an interest in helping the environment. With both a boutique in Studio City, CA and our online store, we strive to bring our customers the coolest earth friendly products around.

We have researched tons of earth friendly, fashion forward products and think we have assembled the best of the best. We offer families alternatives to adopting a greener lifestyle without compromising the “hip” factor. We carefully select each product to provide a large selection of unique and stylish products that will not only guarantee your little one will be the hippest kid around, but the most eco-friendly as well. We are always adding new products to the store that are unique and usually not found everywhere else.

We partner with manufacturers that meet the requirements of being at least one of the following (or any combination!): organic (whether it be skincare or organic cotton in apparel and accessories), made with sustainable materials, employ fair trade practices, made from recycled materials, recyclable, reusable and/or non-toxic (check out our FAQ section to learn more).

We also love to support handmade artisans and feature quite a few handmade items from local designers, all made in the USA. By being made here in the USA, less energy is expended in shipping and transportation (plus we have them ship directly to you, the customer, so we aren’t shipping twice - saving on fuel and excess packaging) plus you support the local economy by keeping jobs, helping to reduce oil dependency and so much more.

So, shopping with us is healthy for your most precious resource, your child, but also healthy for the future of our planet. And as far as we know, it is the only one we have to live on.
