I am an independent children’s clothing sales representative, specializing in trendy and fun fashion. My quaint and intimate showroom is located at the World Trade Center in Dallas, TX. My career in the children’s industry began in the early ‘80’s when I went through the Saks Fifth Avenue executive training program. I was immediately placed as an assistant buyer in Infants and eventually ended up at Macy’s as a corporate buyer doing private label for Infants, girls accessories, sleepwear, and hosiery. I graduated from Pine Manor College ( A.A. ‘78 ) in Chestnut Hill, MA and Simmons College ( B.A. ‘80 ) in Boston, MA. I am originally from Dallas, TX and wanted to be close to my family so I moved back to Dallas and opened my children’s showroom in January 1989 and have been in business ever since. From the beginning, I have always represented a few vendors that are really meaningful to the market place. I believe in specializing and being known for a few wonderful labels versus representing a lot of vendors in which many get lost in the showroom. My history has proved that I represent vendors for a long time ( over 10 years ).The vendors I currently represent are: Un Deux Trois, Ragdoll and Rockets, Gypsy 05, Rose Cage, and Esme.These vendors all have web sights so you can view their product. I sell over 100 stores in the southwest. The states I cover include Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, Mississippi, and Louisiana. I sell all children’s sizes Infant - 16, boys and girls. However, the price point I target is moderate - upper. I have a part time staff of wonderful women that are like ” family ” and have been with me for over 15 years. I am grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference in the clothes children wear. I love making parents happy that their kids are well dressed, but most importantly, I love seeing children feel so happy in the wonderful clothes they are wearing. I would like to specially thank my nephew, Scott ( 14 ) and niece, Abby ( 12 ) as they constructed this whole web sight. Since the day they were both born, I have enjoyed having them as models of my clothes and loved watching their faces light up when they see the new fun, fashion, and soft clothing given to them…known as ” Aunt Halley clothing ”.
