Would you risk the horrors or stinky pet breathe to save your four legged friend’s life? That is the slightly silly question being answered in a poll conducted by the associated press. Nationwide, 1,166 pet owners were asked this question (among a few others): Would you be at least somewhat likely to perform CPR on your pet in the event of a medical emergency? For me the answer would be of course I would! Given that I had the proper CPR training, why wouldn’t I do everything in my power to save my pet’s life?

In all the excitement of Halloween and our new fall products I almost forgot to clue my readers in to our new October clips of the month. In contrast to the general theme of October which is celebrated with symbols like ghoulish goblins, wart faced witches and plump pirate faced jack-o-lanterns, our October clippies showcase a festive holiday season look, without being too garish. After all, we have our Halloween clips for that! Smile Also, around this time of the year every one seems to be gearing up for their holiday shopping .

Well, it happened. I just found out yesterday by a fellow artist who was also copied that my art was being sold on another website. Not only was she taking my design, but the idiot actually forgot to photoshop out my signature from the photo she stole from me. Do you see it here…”the Ballad of Sir Lucky Lion”…that’s mine. Straight from my own website J.AUSTINRyan.

A summer day at the beach, a winter day at a natural hot spring, an outing to the local pool, or an evening soak in the bathtub at home; no matter what kind of water experience kids are having, there is one essential they can’t be without… a towel of course! Dirty knees, soiled hands, smudgy noses, and ears you could grow potatoes in — just a few of the many reasons to make a child’s bath time a daily habit. There isn’t a parent on the planet that can avoid its necessity, and there isn’t a child that doesn’t benefit from its soothing properties. Starting from birth, the sound of warm water running into a bathtub is a ritual that wiggly babies and splashy toddlers learn to love; and whether the bath is filled with bouncy bubbles, calming essential oils, or just plain old H2O, all children want to add fun to bath time!
