a-door-nimals Go from Door Décor to Baby’s Best Friend
a-door-nimals are a versatile creation from the minds and hearts of two grandmas. An a-door-nimal is a baby-friendly stuffed animal holding a high-quality dry erase board heart. The animals were originally created to be used as birth announcements to decorate hospital room doors.
a-door-nimals are also useful at home. Hung outside the baby’s room, parents can write, “Shh… I’m sleeping,” or other cute messages for visitors. Expectant parents have even used the a-door-nimals before the birth as a pregnancy countdown. The stuffed animals have been specially designed so that as the baby grows, the wipe board can be removed and the stuffed animal can be cuddled . A treasure pocket in the back extends the uses even further to make the a-door-nimal great for the tooth fairy. When the dry erase board is removed, the acid free back can be used for baby’s footprints and can be included in a scrapbook.
Each a-door-nimal is made from an ultra soft plush, is 17-18” long, and is machine washable. The a-door-nimal hangs on a door with double-faced satin ribbon. The dry erase board is attached to the animal with Velcro and includes a holder for the marker. Static cling labels can be filled in with birth stats, or pre-written sayings. Sayings include messages for sick children, for the tooth fairy, and birth announcements in Spanish.
Plush animals are available in pink, blue, and white. The birth announcement bear includes a personalized bib; the pink girl bear includes a satin bow; while the blue boy bear has a knit sleeping cap over one ear.
The Get Well Animals are great for kiddos when they are in the hospital. Static cling labels include a saying, “A Sweet Little Lamb, bringing smiles your way with a sweet little message, “feel better today!”
