It's Good to Know … Leesa Valentino

It’s actually great that I know and work with Leesa Valentino on The Giggle Guide. Together, we’re the public face of The Giggle Guide at trade events nationwide. Leesa is co-founder-editor-publisher of The Giggle Guide. No multi-title hyphenate can corral all she does, including wrangling our writers, scooping out stories, managing our editorial calendar, providing tech support to sponsors, selling The Giggle Guide, traveling to all major trade events, and being a number one leader with great cheer and vision! (I’d say she was our cheerleader, but she actually would make a better ump or coach, as she knows how everything works and how to keep our team’s winning spirit high)

I liked Leesa right away, when I met her peddling her Pedoddles at a trade show about six years ago. Now that I know her well, the same virtues I saw then have only become magnified. She’s smart, hard-working, dedicated, loyal, a computer geekie, without the nerd vibe. She has a big heart for people, pets, family and nature. She is an energizer honey that never slows down, but does manage to take a big breather for fanatical fun when it comes to her team, the Washington Redskins. I challenge anyone to find a more loyal Redskins fan. Her air travel following football adventures have scored more miles than every record-breaking touchdown run in the history of the sport!

Most of all, I admire Leesa’s positive attitude. She never complains.
Everything she does must be lined in silver, because she sees good and hope “just around the corner” in every business transaction, interaction and prospect. I am learning to shine a bit brighter by her example.

She is a joy to work with at The Giggle Guide. She is always willing to educate or assist those in the children’s business with Web marketing strategies, search engine optimization, computer glitches and an editorial shout-out on the pages of The Giggle Guide. This was her Internet brain-child, designed to offer the children’s industry all that she saw lacking in the business for all children’s retailers, manufacturers and service providers.

I hope you too will get to know Leesa. She lives in Montana, but travels to Atlanta, Dallas, New York and Las Vegas to cover every industry event. Plus, she is being asked more often to give business seminars about Internet Marketing and Social Media.

She’s hard to catch up with, but if you see her hustling down an aisles just try to catch her! She tells great tales too, funny anecdotes about her tribulations, triumphs and occasional misadventures. It only takes a moment to like her and her vibrant personality.

It’s not just good to know Leesa Valentino … it’s been great for me. She was there when we needed each other the most to help build The Giggle Guide for the children’s industry. She makes all the work a lot more fun.
