My baby is doing what?!?

I recently found out I am pregnant! Yeah! I’m so excited. I decided to tell my boss and coworkers, since I will be going to many appointments in the next few weeks. One of my coworkers had gotten a daily baby pregnancy calendar at a tradeshow. She said she wasn’t too sure about it. She had read the first few weeks and they were pretty interesting. So she brought me the calendar the next day. It is called- Countdown to My Birth. It’s a nice flippy calendar, so you can put it on a desk and read daily about what your baby is doing. The best part is you fill in from your last period date and it follows your dates for your pregnancy. The first few weeks are pretty funny. Ooh sperm and fallopian tubes … but once you get in and read all the amazing stuff that baby is doing, it’s pretty cool. It also has space to write notes on the side. I wrote in when I took the pregnancy test and I plan to write little notes through out my pregnancy.

Today I am 7 weeks and 2 days. The calendar tells me ‘Even though my sex was determined at conception, my ovaries or testes are just starting to develop.’ How intriguing is that!
