Adore La Vie

Who ever thought the fun, adorable children’s line could come from Iowa! This is true. The designer of Adore La Vie, Amanda Boyd, grew up in the wholesome, honest, hard-working Midwest.

Adore La Vie is the vision of designer Amanda Boyd, who knew since she was 5 years old, she was going to become a fashion designer. Sticking with her dream, she achieved a degree in Apparel Design with a minor in Creative Design, from both Iowa State University and London College of Fashion.

Onto the real world, this little fish from Iowa, jumped right into the pond, or shall we say the Sea of Cortez, and began her design career with the largest national catalog company, Spiegel Catalog.

After over 3 years of an excellent experience with Spiegel, Amanda was anxious for the next adventure.

The risk taker and thrill seeker Amanda is, she left Chicago to purse a design career with the Gymboree Corporation in San Francisco! Amanda fell in love with the West Coast, San Francisco, and designing children’s clothes.

After 6 wonderful years of designing for Gymboree, Janeville, and Janie & Jack (all under the Gymboree Corporation), Amanda was ready to truly purse the BIG DREAM, and launch her own design company.

In 2008 Adore La Vie was born! Adore La Vie means Love Life. From the designer with a Midwest soul and West Coast spirit, Amanda showcases this vibe through each collection. Adore La Vie’s, colorful, playful, adventure some, clothing allows each child to dream big, and love life, Adore La Vie!
