Dahlias and Pears

What do dahlias and pears have to do with stationary?
Nothing! But our grandparents grew Dahlias and Pears and we spent our summers working in the pear orchard and the dahlia fields. They are both gone now, and among the many things we miss most are fresh pears from the orchard and the abundance of dahlias that filled our home and our days as children. Grandma and Grandpa led a simple life, wasting nothing, saving everything. Boxes of ribbons and buttons that we had played with as children were part of our inheritance and we began using them to make cards for our family and friends. We have since evolved into the use of new materials, but the buttons and ribbons are still our inspiration for creating hand-made cards and stationary that we love. We hope you do too.
