Good design should surround us from the start. Just because children are small, it doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve great looks and functionality within their lives.

Like so many similar ventures, numsi was conceived shortly after the birth of our first child, when we discovered a distinct lack of unique, modern artwork for babies which we actually wanted to live with. After all, you spend a lot of time in your children’s room too. We were looking for artwork with the same aesthetic which we strive for in our own grown-up world; simple, crisp and minimal, yet beautiful and arresting. After a couple of years of planning, and another baby later, numsi finally exists in the real world.
