Short Hat Company (www.shorthats.com) is a family-owned business that is dedicated to creating beautiful, quality hats that satisfy the needs of both kids and parents.

Our headwear collection is defined by classic, clean designs paired with function and performance. We know that children are picky consumers when it comes to their hats. During the design process we are careful to take both comfort and style into account. Our knits are handmade in Argentina using meticulously chosen, high quality yarns. They are soft and toasty warm and will keep your child cozy during the cold winter months.

The cap collection is made in the U.S.A. using unique, designer fabrics. Subtle details make all the difference in comfort and fit. The brimmed hats include a padded coolmax headband that eliminates the scratch factor and helps wick away moisture. With different head shapes and sizes in mind, we use “true fit” adjustable backs—rather than elastic— for a non-binding feel.

We source organic and renewable fibers whenever possible and we use recycled plastic visors in our brimmed caps.

Our collateral material is 100% recycled paper - printed by hand - on an antique letterpress with soy inks. The mill that makes our paper is in Niles MI, with100% of their electricity generated with their own on-site hydro plant.
