Whimsy Wear

In 2000, Beth McCormick began playing with some designs she had created for her daughter then age 9 months. After interest from friends, she began selling some outfits in her retail store and through trade shows around her hometown. Mom’s loved the concept of being able to “design your own” outfits for their little ones. Beth’s main inspiration came from wanting to keep her own children looking age appropriate. Thus came the Whimsy Wear motto - Keeping Little Ones Looking Like Little Ones.

After many sleepless nights and literally the “blood, sweat, and tears” that go into creating something you love, Beth realized it was time to look at the bigger picture. What was once a hobby could now become something that she dreams of passing on to her own children. Now, almost 8 years later, Whimsy Wear has grown from a basement project to a full scale clothing line sold in hundreds of boutiques across the US.

Beth has still kept this a family-oriented business. You still see her son helping with packages, her daughter helping pick out fabrics, and her husband helping with business ideas. As Whimsy Wear continues to grow, Beth still continues to design fun, age-appropriate clothing that little ones love to wear.
