Summer Place II Showroom — The Place for Buys
From diaper cakes to Mom and Me jewelry, permanent showroom representative, Summer Place II Booth 8880-WTC, offers everything for mother and child. Here are some finds:
Janice McGowan invented The Preppy Peanut so everyone could easily see, ‘It’s a Girl!” She is the mother of two girls who were blessed with beautiful blonde hair. Unfortunately, her girls’ golden locks did not come in until they were about two-years old. Because of their bald little heads, Janice says she would get comments like “Ah, what a beautiful boy!” You could say that her products were made out of necessity – wanting her girls to be seen for what they were, adorable little princesses! Janice had looked and looked but was unable to find accessories that she liked in the colors she wanted . . . so she made them. Before she knew it, her line grew to include Elastic Headbands, Sun Hats, Crochet Hats, Cotton Beanie Hats, Clippies, and Military Style Hats for Tweens, Monogrammed Pony Cuffs and Monogrammed Pony Tail O’s.
Diaper-Scrunchie™ is a fancy diaper holder that’s functional and fashionable to keep diapers neat. It keeps 2-6 diapers with your wipes and lets you have easy access to your wipe dispenser. This is a great tool for dads too who don’t like carrying bags. Designer and Mom B. Jane has taken her love of sewing and design and turned it into a business. There are several different prints to choose from, all of them fun and lively. For more information, visit http://diaperscrunchie.com/
Dapper Snapper, desinged by a mom, helps keep little one’s pants from drooping. They offer a simple elastic band that attaches to the rear waistband of a child’s pants to keep them from falling down. It stretches with them and still keeps their pants in place, unlike a regular belt that can be tight around the middle and hurt a little tummy. JP Lizzy, designed by a fashion- forward Mom, thrust into the world of motherhood with preemie twins who found herself unable to find a diaper bag that expressed her sense of style. She created a popular brand that is fun, flirty and sophisticated, but perhaps most importantly, functional! For more information, visit http://www.jplizzy.com
