Wendy Feller has come to the rescue with Züpers, which she describes as “strong legging for string girls.” Inspired by the ’70s “Toughskins” pants for boys, Wendy designed these stylish padded leggings to help guard girls’ tender knees. Züpers promotes “girl power” by encouraging girls to be strong and athletic, while exhibiting a sense of style.

The leggings are made of 90% micropolyester and 10% lycra, which is resilient, rip-resistant and elastic. Züpers have moisture-wicking properties and UV protection to prevent skin irritation from sweat and sun exposure. No matter how far it is stretched, the fabric maintains its original shape. The leggings come with removable neoprene knee pads, and extra pads can be ordered. Züpers leggings also have a fabulous feature that no other leggings have – a super cool secret treasure pocket on the lower right leg.

Züpers leggings coordinate well with dresses, blouses, shirts and jackets. They look great layered with miniskirts and shorts, keeping legs warm during wintry days. The leggings are offered in solid and printed fabrics, with heart-shaped removable knee pads. Solid colors include black, blue, chocolate and pink while prints currently include ten funky, hip designs featuring flowers, dots, animal prints, and tye-dye.
