Kickboard USA Gets Families Rolling

“We have seen our products literally liberate kiddos of all ages,” said David Stebbins of Kickboard USA, which brings families the Micro Scooters developed by Swiss inventor Wim Ouboter. Ouboter developed his first scooter with the assistance of his wife, and realized that it could provide fun mobility to a much bigger audience than just their own family. Ouboter teamed with CEO and former freestyle-rider (x-treme/stunt scooters) Hans-Peter Bolliger to bring the world Micro-Mobility Ltd. Kickboard USA owners Geoff and Julie Hawksworth discovered the scooters overseas and brought them to the States.

The Mini Micro 3-in-1 scooter is designed for children ages 1-5 and was the winner of the “Best in Show” at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 2012. Available in pink or blue, this convertible scooter glides along on polyurethane wheels so kids can play indoors or outdoors.

The Maxi Micro gives older children ages 5-11 the freedom of the outdoors while enhancing playtime. It is available with two steering options (a Pilot stick or T-bar) and comes in nine colors.
