Swedish company Little Jalo has its eye on developing the finest in children’s products. Started by industry veteran Marie Sammeli, Little Jalo brings the best of kids fashion into line with the finest in materials and design. The company is named for Sammeli’s children (Jacob, Alexander, Lisa, and Oscar) so there is a definite emphasis on the “fun” in functional. Colors are neutral and cozy, with an emphasis on clean lines and skilled craftsmanship. Keeping Kids Cozy in Swedish Style

Little Jalo’s lambskin hats are customer favorites and one of the company’s best-sellers. They are targeted for cool weather, and work well in autumn, winter, and spring. “We find that our customers like …the look, the cozy material and the fact that [they are] long lasting products that don´t wear out,” notes Sammeli. Available in taupe or white, the lambskin hats are warm and snuggly-soft against the skin. The hats come with generous earflaps to keep out Mother Nature, and can be had with either chinstraps (for a more secure fit) or ties.

The knit cashmere hat (with or without earflaps) would make a great present for little tykes. The 80% cashmere/20% angora blend can’t be beat for softness and style (for babies 4-9 months or 9-24 months). Matching baby mittens make an adorable accompaniment to Little Jalo’s hats. These hand-huggers are available in white or taupe lambskin (4-12 months or 9-18 months) or in creamy cashmere (babies 0-8 months).

Little feet will feel the love with Little Jalo’s booties. Constructed from lambskin, they compliment any outfit with their neutral tones and go-everywhere look.
