Bulle de BB Fashions Send a French Message

In July 2004, in the lavish South of France, Bulle de BB was created by an expectant and fashion forward French mom, Samantha Lenient. She was eager to find quality clothing for her new baby that would be both charming, yet modern and trendy. She loved the idea of discreetly adding tiny, tender messages to make a statement. As Cedric Chauvet, Export Assistant explains, “Bulle de BB” is a play-on-words. “Bulle” means “speech bubble” and “BB” means “baby.”

Bulle de BB styles are designed in soft and comfortable natural fabrics that are easy to care for and fuss-free for busy moms. As Chauvet states, “Our clients are little baby fashionistas from 0-4 years old.” The company has grown at a rapid rate since its creation. The little messages in French always resonate well with the customers. For example: “I love my godmother and it has served me well.” And “Daddy knows a lot, but Grandpa knows everything.”

The entire collection is designed in France, close to their offices in Marseille by owner Lenient, supported by her stylist Melissa Forestieri. Bulle de BB’s best sellers are the one-pieces, t-shirts, rompers and their fabulous dresses. Chauvet personally does not have a favorite design, but states, “We don’t have one favorite design, we always love each piece of our collections. But we are proud to have been able to launch our new resort wear line, Mini Riviera.”

Mini Riviera is especially designed for children from 0 to 12 years. “Timeless casual French Riviera style and elegance is now available for those discerning little travelers that choose both comfort and style,” explains Chauvet. The resort wear features sun-filled designs in natural fabrics for all-day comfort and elegance. A dash of vintage, a sprinkle of fun and flair, and always modern and trendy.

Bulle de BB is a growing company with about 15 workers. The team is always seeking to improve itself and listen to its clients. They are currently launching the export department in order to follow their success story abroad. This year they will be exhibiting in Paris, London and New York.
