8-Year-Old’s Liv Notes Send Artistic Greetings

Young artists usually have their first private showing on the famous gallery known as The Refrigerator, in homes across the country. However, second-grader Liv Larson’s parents loved their daughter’s creations so much, they transformed them into a collection of delightful greeting cards, Liv Notes! The overall response to Liv’s art was so positive, that the Larson family realized they were onto something special. Liv’s love for drawing and painting has developed into a fanciful greeting card business, owned by an enchanting eight-year old, whose path to artistic success has gone well past the family’s fridge!

Liv’s artwork is whimsical, cheerful and vibrant, with all the innocence and fun one would expect from an imaginative young girl. Her technique demonstrates an added flair for balance and joy. Her artistic inspiration stems from her love of running, sports, her friends, her family, and her beloved dog Maggie, a playful golden-doodle. A prolific artist, Liv has taken classes at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. She currently offers 18 original Liv Notes card designs that feature her happy prints of hearts, rainbows, girls and boys at play, princesses, fairies and a beautiful message of peace and harmony, suitable for a variety of occasions.

Ten percent of the profits from each card is generously donated to the Minneapolis Ronald McDonald House, which offers shelter and support to parents and families whose children are suffering from the grip of cancer.
