Dallas Market Center's March Total Home and Gift Show
The Dallas Market’s March 2009 Show opened with 30 new showrooms across the marketplace. In spite of the economy, the number of international buyers and new buyers increased.
The Dallas Market Center caters to its buyers by providing coffee, breakfast, and snacks. Plus, Bloody Marys and Margaritas served throughout the day! Friday’s are shop till you drop at 8 pm, featuring a headliner fashion show through day’s end.
One of the highlights of the Market is the shared showroom concept, The KidsWorld Studio. This showroom is bright and spacious. With many unique finds from apparel, shoes, home decor and more, it was a “must see” for buyers.
The Dallas Market Center’s Senior Manager of Public Relations Meredith Hit said, “Our loyal retailers will serve as the backbone of economic recovery, and in order to stay ahead of the competition they are sourcing smarter and seeking resources and information only available at market. And while buyer attendance was softer than last year, we are better positioned to gain market share in the long run. Buyers and manufacturers are seeking safer returns on their investments, and the Dallas marketplace remains an excellent value for retailers.”
