Upbeat Mood Prevails at Children's Club for the Spring/Summer 2010 Season
New York, NY (October 7, 2009) – The Children’s Club wrapped its three-day run at the Javits Center in New York City, from October 4-6, 2009. The exhibit was an amazing expression of the upcoming Spring/Summer 2010 season and provides an outstanding medium for vendors and retailers alike to meet.
The show highlighted many leading contemporary brands that have expanded into the Children’s market to build and groom their market share. Industry leaders such as: T-Bags, Ben Sherman, Red Jacket, Joes Jeans, Splendid, Juicy Couture and Oilily, to name a few.
Children’s Club continues to see an influx of contemporary brands moving into organic and environmentally conscious categories, which has become more mainstream with every season. Eco-friendly product was first introduced at the Children’s Club in recent years, and the exhibit now boasts over 50 environmentally-conscious brands, which feature organic dyes, environmentally-conscious textiles such as bamboo and other organic fabrics. Increased consumer acceptance and demand has fueled this trend and many brands have led the charge including: Kate Quinn Organics, Sage Creek, Egg Baby, Kiwi Industries, and Lotus Springs.
Children’s Club was also pleased to be the home for dozens of new brands that have chosen the show to exhibit their product to an international audience. Great collections included: Chicanella Bella, Bisquit and Poppet, Mustard Pie, Mogo, Tie Ups, Knuckleheads and So Nikki Inc. to name a few notables.
According to Stanley Kaye, Children’s Club Show Coordinator, “The October show clearly created a strong summer statement for the Children’s market following on the huge success of the August Holiday/Resort market held last August”.
