Meet the others…
Most people have never lived with a cat. I always hear how aloof they are. You can say that, until you meet our crew. They think they are people. They sure know how to work us. Most of the times they are right there with you. If not, they come when you call them. Pete has to see you. She is deaf. We have rules, at least in our presence, they obey. This is part of the ongoing debate about what is “good” behavior.
Kaylee (aka Pete) is the oldest in our family. She will be 19 this year. She has started to slow down but is still in charge of the house. She was a gift from a friend. She was taken away from her mother too soon so she needed to be taught everything. She used to eat with her paws and then wipe them on the wall. I had to put up a place mat to keep it clean. As you can see, Pete is very cute. EVERYONE loves her. They all want to take her home, but her favorite is my sister. She sits in my sister’s lap all day or on her computer. I forgot to mention the Pete talks. She will answer you too. In the morning it is quite annoying.
I got Gladys (aka cuddly bug or bug) because Pete needed a friend. Gladys came from the pound. She was so tiny. She was LOADED with fleas. It was disgusting. She had her tail broken so it is always straight up but bent in an L on the tip. Gladys is a scaredy cat. She had a traumatic experience when we moved. You have to win her love before she warms up but once does, she is the most cuddly girl. Gladys is 18. She thinks she is a spring chicken. She runs up and down the stairs. She can climb a ladder we have in the house. Gladys loves her Uncle. She is his back rest. She sits behind him when he is working on the computer. When I am home, you will find Bug sleeping with me.
Taz (aka babes or little girl.), like the others came from the pound. She is is almost 12. We got her when Pete got out and was lost for 6 weeks. We were going to the pound regularly to check for Pete. My sister had gone and Babes picked her out. She took her out of the cage to pet her. When she came home, she told me that this kitten picked her out. I went back a few days later and she did the same thing to me. Needless to say, I came home with her. She is sooo sweet. She loves to gives massages. Babes has the tiniest body but is pleasantly plump. Babes loves her mother.. When I am out of town, she sits at my bedroom and picks her fur. She will have a bald butt, when I return.
My presences is being requested from Gladys and Babes… More another day.

Cats!
This trio almost makes me wish I were not allergic to cats. Almost.
