What does the Baby Ascot do that other bibs do not? The Baby Ascot protects the infant’s neck by covering it with a soft and breathable fabric. Traditional bibs do not cover the neck. Instead, a traditional bib protects the baby’s torso. While this works for clothing, it does not prevent dribbles, drool, and debris from running down the neck and getting trapped in the folds. Unlike a traditional bib, the Baby Ascot does not offer significant protection of the infant’s torso - it is not a replacement for a traditional bib. The Baby Ascot can be worn alone or in conjunction with a traditional bib.
