Discoveroo is an Australian company with a mission to encourage creative play through beautiful, affordable, and sustainable wooden toys. We’ve found that parents are more interested in wooden toys and less interested in plastic and electronic toys. Although usually cheaper, plastic and electronic toys have limited play value and often break quickly. Furthermore, they limit the amount of Creative Play that is necessary to develop a child’s mind during critical windows of accelerated development in early childhood. These critical times are windows of opportunity for parents and educators to provide the best possible learning environment. Discoveroo products are designed to encourage more Creative Play; they stir up the imagination with outcomes that are not predetermined, which gives a child the opportunity to explore possibilities and develop their mind. Our toys are Natural and Simple because, for young children, seeing how a toy works is an important part of understanding the world. The natural materials also stimulate the senses in a way that processed materials cannot.
