Kelly Rightsell captures what it is like to be a child, to see the world openly and creatively. Her designs are inspired not only by her own children, but by years as a fine artist in the South, her degree in printmaking, summer art studies in Europe, and her work as an elementary school art teacher. Or are they also inspired by childhood dreams? Or a dusty book on her grandmother’s shelf? Or visions of the world, only in different colors?
