I am pleased to announce Sassy® as the BopStarBaby, exclusive participant in the developmental toys category in the BabyMakes3 baskets for 2010!! Here’s a little additional information on the company.

For centuries, mothers in India, Thailand and Cambodia have used beautiful bell-adorned anklets to ward off bad spirits and keep track of young children. Alerted to the movements of their babies by the jingling bells, parents could constantly hear their wandering tots. These anklets are the original baby-tracking device! The Giggle Guide® sounds off on two bell-brands, Bumble Bells and Baby Emi, that have been inspired by the fashion and the function of this age-old tradition.

Hot Moms Club contributor Natalie Klein wrote rave reviews for three of BopStarBaby’s fabulous clients!

First, she was thrilled with the No Slippy Hair Clippy® Organic Headband w/ Spider Flower. Then she fell in love with the new eco-friendly Pedoodles®. Finally, she went into raptures over The Dropper Stopper™. Thanks for helping spread the word about these wonderful products, Natalie - we’re so happy you’re happy with them!

The Dropper Stopper™ also showed up in a feature on “Impulse Items” in Kids Today.

Allergy Apparel makes it their business to look out for children with allergies. The company offers hypersensitive youth a selection of hip shirts and hoodies that sport sassy skulls and crossbones, together with reminders that one kid’s food is another kid’s poison! By promoting allergy awareness in schools, hospitals and daycares through advocacy and informative books and guides, Allergy Apparel has become more than just a line of clothing — it’s a constant reminder to help parents and caregivers avoid potentially life-threatening situations.

What’s even better than a hoppin’ holiday party? You being glam in that hoppin’ holiday party, of course! And don’t give me any old excuse that it’s just with some of your closest friends anyway or a bunch of relatives. Unacceptable! You’ve been a hardworking mommy all year long, forgotten to shower several times (admit it), and average only three hours of sleep per night! This is that one time when you can unleash your inner goddess and not have to explain yourself.

Colors can affect mood and reflect our personalities, both in what we wear and the palette chosen in our homes. Using paint, we can enhance our living environments with an endless spectrum of hues, and the classic white walls of the past are becoming awash in a myriad of color. Color is therapeutic. Studies show, for example, that spending just 15 minutes in a pink room can noticeably reduce depression, while green can significantly reduce levels of anxiety.

  1. Sleep? What is this “sleep” that you speak of?

  2. Shower? What is “shower”? It is alien to me.

  3. It’s 3:00 in the afternoon and you realize that you have not had lunch AND breakfast. And you’re wondering why you’re so cranky.

Hammocks bring to mind images of lazy summer afternoons spent swinging in the breeze, sipping a cool drink with a good book. Curiously, the origins of the hammock go way back in history. Some credit the ancient Greeks with its invention, while others point to the early inhabitants of the Amazon Basin. The Mayans knew that the hammock is an ideal sleep system for an infant because it surrounds the baby, simulating the mother’s womb, as it naturally responds to the child’s movement. The Giggle Guide® surveys this alternative sleep system for babies, with selections from Hushamok, Kanoe and Mama Little Helper.
