A fantastic little blog called “Shop With me Mama” wrote a really sweet review of our clips and headbands recently. The woman behind Shop With me Mama is Kim, a stay at home Mom with two small children. As she says on her blog:

Children's Club - New York, New York (8/2/09 - 8/4/09)

It’s show time again and the ENK Children’s Club Show at Pier 94 in New York City did not disappoint. It was heart-warming to witness the pursuit of so much good old American business. I saw orders being written, lots of smiles and laughter and a general sense of purpose. The Giggle Guide™ has found some outstanding lines featured, from high styles taken from the runway to educational threads and one-of-a-kind gifts. Here are our highlights from the shows, including Saurette, Meta Threads, Tangerine Sky, Tree by Kerri Lee and Earnest Sewn Kids.

Do we really know what our kids are watching on television these days? There are lots of television shows that are approved for children and are both child and parent friendly. But do we take the time to actually watch them? Spending time with your family watching a T.V. show or a made for television movie can be a great way to bond with them and start up good conversations, but are all the shows appropriate?

At The Giggle Guide™, our “Road to Success” series shares the interesting paths leaders in the children’s industry have taken that have guided and influenced their businesses. We recently heard about the journey of Pat Martinek, founder of Martinek BéBé. We’ve all heard about “Renaissance men,” but nothing about “Renaissance women.” Pat is a true Renaissance woman. She is known for her award-winning furniture products — round & rectangular cribs, hand-forged cradles, armoires, toy chests and other baby-oriented furniture — plus innovative, elegantly designed store fixtures.

Although this spotting was in 2007, I can’t resist posting it now! After all, Brad Pitt and Angeline Jolie are Hollywood’s hottest couple and their children are just as important to the tabloids these days. Brad and Angelina were photographed strolling with their daughters, Zahara and Shiloh, in New Orleans in May of 2007. Zahara was given a BopStar BabyMakes3, Big Sister basket from BopStar Baby which contains No Slippy Hair Clips. She is shown here wearing our Shocking Pink Fuzzy Birthday Cake clip! Isn’t she just precious!?

In addition to the fabulous new, eco-friendly packaging on our original line, we’re launching delicious new prints in our popular Chic line of Clean Shoppers and Clean Diners as well! And our Chic line comes complete with adorably trendy, reusable drawstring totes. We’ll be showing off our new Loop D Loop and Black & White prints at the September ABC show, so you can buy everything in time for the holidays! Visit us at the show, Booth #320, for a sneak peak at everything Chic!

Our frames by Posh Pics are original and made in the USA. The creative process begins with a splash of paint, random crackling and all over distressing. We go a little crazy with bows, metal crosses and fleur de lis, swarovski crystals and some bling here and there. Whether the frame you chose has some or all of these applications, the end result is a stylish, one-of-a-kind hand made piece. It’s perfect to enhance your photograph.
