I loved that she had the practical sense of humor to name her creation “Hooter Hiders,” which was brilliant too because it quickly told the function of the product, which previously had not been so fashionably conceived. The company, Bébé au Lait, has evolved into a multi-line brand that is equally known for its fashion and function.

Sister-in-laws Debbie Horwits and Charlie Weir wanted to start a company that would utilize their creative skills. As the mother of four daughters, Charlie wanted to be their role model as a female entrepreneur. She felt with the tough financial times that the idea of starting a business was more relevant than ever. Debbie and Charlie started Drama in 2010, selling mostly girl’s accessories and novelty items. They are now moving towards carrying a full garment line with a selection of beautiful accessories. 2012 ABC Spring Conference Makes Trade Show Executive Magazine's Fastest 50 List

Trade Show Executive Magazine has released its “Fastest 50” list, and the 2012 ABC Spring Educational Conference & Trade Show was ranked #42 in attendance growth in North America.

In its fourth year, the specialty retailer conference and trade show was held at the South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 25 - 27, 2012.

Total attendance for the event was 825, an increase of 11.6% over 2011. Retail store attendance was up 28% at 183, with buyer attendance up 31% at 330. Media attendance was up 84.6%. There were 126 exhibitors and 187 booths.
