The Bags They Are a-Changing

Kalencom

For a new mom, the one accessory she can’t live without is her diaper bag. This essential carry-all has evolved in both appearance and function over the years, and is often marketed as a “changing bag” rather than a “diaper bag” by many top brands today. Diapers no longer get top billing, as these practical bags tote everything from snacks, drinks, and toys to creams, medicines, wardrobe changes and more. The Giggle Guide® takes a look at how mama’s got a brand new bag from Danzo, Boujie Baby, Red Mohican and Kalencom.

Danzo Bags Are a Clear Choice to Grab and Go

Danzo Baby
Based in New York City, Danzo is named after Dani and Zoe, Alyssa and Gary Apple’s daughters, who are the inspiration for the brand’s beautiful products. After years of reaching into a bag and coming up with the wrong item, these parentpreneurs were frustrated about not being able to easily see what’s what in the baby’s diaper bag of tricks. The blindman’s bluff aspect of this maneuver proved to be even more difficult when holding a baby in one hand. Even worse, the Apples often forgot to pack important items because their diaper bag was so disorganized and cluttered. Longing to be more organized, they came up with their crystal-clear vision of a handy diaper bag with transparent, see-through pockets and compartments.

Danzo bags offer a patent-pending system of clear, interchangeable Velcro® pockets, which include labels, making it simple to see, and pick up items at a glance. There are four bag styles, available in a variety of colors with a waterproof nylon or canvas exterior. Each bag also includes a breathable nylon changing pad.

Red Mohican is the Hippest Bag for Hands-Free Outings

Red Mohican
The founders of Red Mohican came to their designs from experiencing first-hand the possibilities— and impossibilities— of juggling several children at once while trying to accomplish important, day-to-day tasks. Their range of bags is a distinct diversion from the ordinary.

Red Mohican’s uniquely designed and manufactured Hip&Go collection puts emphasis on keeping arms and shoulders free, which makes a mom’s wish of getting an extra hand come true! The bag is worn on either side of the belt, resting on the hips, allowing easy access to the two secure leather pouches on either side which are held in place with interior elastic netting to secure cell-phones and wallets. There are two other interior zippered pockets and a magnetic clasp system to allow easy opening and closing while maintaining external security.

Available in two sizes in a variety of colors and made from high-end Nappa leather, the Hip&Go is as eye-catching as it is comfortable. The brass belt buckle, key clips and zippers offset the design with a finishing touch of fashion. A bottle-holder accessory, sold separately, is stored out-of-sight behind the pouches, within easy reach of either arm.

Good bag design! I want to…

Good bag design! I want to have it right now. Today is the first day I have ever encountered towel day, and it has been around for a couple of years. This really is an unbelievable way for a fan to celebrate someone’s life. Towel Day is a day supposed to celebrate the life of the late author Douglas Adams. “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy,” was written by Adams, as numerous science fiction followers already are aware. The uses from the ‘towel’ based on Adams are many and great. On the 14th day following Adams passing, May 25, fans of his carry around this multipurpose towel to remember him.
