This Little Piggy Paint’s Ready for Market!
Piggy Paint, an all-natural line of nail polish, offers an alternative to traditional kid polish. Water-based and made from natural ingredients, Piggy Paint provides polish in bright and exciting colors, suitable for even the smallest diva.
Founder Melanie Hurley is a mom of two girls who have a passion for painted nails. Bothered by the harsh chemicals and scent of traditional polishes, Melanie sought a better solution. Fingernail polish inevitably ends up in children’s mouths and harsh chemicals like formaldehyde, phthalates, and BPA are becoming unacceptable. Motivated to protect children’s love of a favorite pastime, Melanie made polish her passion, as she seto out to develop safe nail polish for kids.
Piggy Paint is non-flammable, odorless, and hypo-allergenic. All ingredients used in the polish are biodegradable and leave no residue. Piggy Paint also offers a hypo-allergenic, odorless, non-toxic polish remover, specifically designed to remove Piggy Paint.
Because the polish is free from traditional chemicals, Piggy Paint takes longer to fully set and the manufacturer suggests the use of a hair dryer to speed up the process. Once set, the polish has a hard, durable finish. The whimsical line offers 13 girly-inspired shades, including angel kisses (pink), clouds of candy (light blue), and dandelion dance (yellow). June marks the introduction of a new color to the collection, a shimmery lavender titled “Candy-Coated.”
Polish and remover are sold separately and combined in convenient gift bags that include polish combinations and polish/remover combos. Individual polishes retail for $9.99 while remover retails for $10.50. Gift bags include; three coordinating polishes for $26.50, or two coordinating polishes and one remover for $27.50. Gift bags are cleverly coordinated for each occasion such as the Halloween version, “Gouls Wanna Have Fun” which includes 3 fall colors; sleepover (black), mac n cheese (orange), and glass slippers (clear sparkle topcoat).
Wholesale packages are displayed in a fun piggy pail, complete with straw and the tag line “Piggy Paint… Natural as Mud. Piggy Paint offers free shipping to wholesalers throughout June! The latest colors and collections can be found at www.PiggyPaint.com.
Try Piggy Paints in your store. Maybe even offer a “spa” day with a mani/pedi party for moms and daughters. They’ll “squeal” all the way home!

What a great product!
I also think that the best items come along because someone cares so much about their kids and their health. I have nieces and I totally plan to hook them up with some piggy paint. I always see their polish flaking and can’t imagine it getting in their mouths. I know they like to lick their fingers.
